For almost 10 years, MRG has worked exclusively with Constant Contact on a local level, for our community association monthly newsletter, as well as a monthly national outreach for our industrial accounts. From the neighbor next door to Fortune 100 companies throughout the U.S., we will have the experience to engage your future customer and create an INTEREST in your company’s services or products.
If one considers ROI (Return of Investment), Constant Contact estimates that Email Marketing has an average ROI of $36 for every $1 spent. The Global Management company McKinsey estimates that Email is 40 times more effective than Facebook or Twitter COMBINED in helping your business acquire new customers. …and yet we all know that it is not all that simple.
Our Inboxes are flooded almost daily with emails try to sell us something. (I am still trying to figure out how all these Chinese steel companies and freight forwarders get through my filters!) The real issue is why we read some emails and not others? Why are we excited about one subject line and not another?
To avoid being sent to the “Junk” folder, MRG’s Constant Contact campaigns are designed to:
· Be personal
· Build Credibility
· Increase your company’s brand recognition
· Improve sales
· Support existing customer relationships
· Increase traffic to your website, and maybe most importantly
· Establish your credentials as an authority in your field.
When you are the owner of a small business, you are most likely involved every hour of the day with the execution of the operations of your business. You are generally exhausted at day’s end and have little time for planning how to increase your customer base. And when is it the right time to hire a full time experienced “salesperson” who can hit the ground running? Simply put, how many times on a Saturday are you paying “catch up” and not spending time with the family?
Email marketing is a great tool for the small business owner that has a need to get his message to both an established customer base and those who are not aware of your business, your capabilities or your experience. And it is not complicated.
MRG will design your newsletter based upon those capabilities and experiences. I will help you differentiate yourself from your competition and demonstrate to the reader the value of your service or product. How will we do this?
· A picture is worth a thousand words! Take pictures of your work. People love to look at pictures. A visual indicates that you are proud of your work, service or product and encourages the belief that you can supply QUALITY. Use your iPhone or Android as often as possible.
· References. Your future customer wants to know that you have satisfied others in the area. No one wants to be the Guinea Pig. There was a regional clothing store in the Northeast years back that used the slogan: “An Educated Consumer Is Our Best Customer.” I cannot tell you how many pairs of slacks, sports coats, sweaters and sox I purchased in Woodbridge, NJ at Sy Syms. “Educate” your future customer concerning your company, build trust and make the customer feel comfortable. Promote quality, not price. Increase profit margins. Why be “Low Bid”?
· Keep a customer list updated. If you have a customer list in Excel format, it takes minutes to merge that list with your newly created newsletter. If you are a fan of paper, we will help you convert. Establish and maintain that customer list – it is your present livelihood and foundation for the future. …and then we will work to increase that future customer listing.
Do not over complicate Email Marketing. It is merely one singular tool in your Business Development toolbox and can be initiated immediately …and very cost effective!
